Current Position:
Susan is an Academic Advisor for Central Michigan University ’s Off Campus Programs.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Central Michigan University
• Master of Arts in Educational Administration, Central Michigan University

Previous Student Affairs Experience:
During her career at CMU, she has worked in the areas of Academic Advising, Orientation, and Residence Life. She has also been employed at Miami University as the Assistant Director for Educational Placement and Minority Career Services.

Involvement with MCPA:
Susan began her involvement with MCPA in 1994 when she attended the New Professionals Institute. In 1996, she became a member and worked with the conference registration committee in 1997. Her service to the MCPA Board began in 2000. She served as the Drive-in Workshop Chair in 2000-2002, Registration Co-chair for the 2001 conference, Conference Co-Chair for the 50 th Anniversary Conference in 2002, and President in 2003-2004.

Involvement with other organizations:
She became a member of ACPA in 1994 and has served on the Commission VI, Program Committee. Other professional involvement includes the Ohio Association of School, College and University Staffing, Southwest Ohio Personnel Directors, NACADA and MIACADA.

Other Facts :
In her first career, she worked in hospitality services administration for Hyatt Hotels and the Lansing Center . She enjoys traveling with her husband John and her son, John, Jr. Her favorite hobbies are scrabooking and quilting.
