The Michigan College Personnel Association (MCPA) is pleased to announce a new opportunity for student affairs professionals from West Michigan to learn about important topical areas and to connect with colleagues in this geographic region. This session is free and open to any faculty or staff member from regional institutions. This session will include a moderated panel of experts who will provide perspectives from four-year public and private, as well as two-year institutions about the concept of “helicopter parents” and how we can move from “dealing” with them to encouraging more of a “partnership” relationship. The panel will be followed by interactive,
round-table discussions with the panelists and participants.
