Current Position:
I serve as the Director of the College of Community & Public Service Undergraduate Advising Center at Grand Valley State University.

Previous Student Affairs Experience:
I am starting my 10th year at GVSU and in that time have had the opportunity to work in several positions. In addition to my current position, I have coordinated a departmental advising center, the tutoring and writing centers, as well as worked as a graduation auditor in the records office.

Involvement with MCPA:
I’ve been involved with MCPA since 2002 through many different avenues. I was elected to the Board of Directors as member-at-large for 2004-2006; I have served on annual conference planning teams for 2004, 2005, and 2006; I served as co-chair of the Learning Reconsidered conference in 2005; I served as newsletter co-editor in 2006, and have attended and presented at the annual conferences. I took over web responsibilities in 2005 and remain in this role.

I live with my husband, Darrell, 2 cats, and 2 great danes in Allendale, Michigan and my favorite color is purple.
