  • Thomas Stone, Professor and Admissions Counselor at Oakland Community College-Royal Oak Campus, received the 1984 Best of State Award at the Spring Conference for his presentation, "Increased Positive Personal Awareness in Planning: Research Your Human Potential".
  • Betty Reisman was first runner-up.
